I first became interested in photography when I was 10 years old when I learned how to process black and white film at overnight camp.  Through the years, I would take my camera to parties and family events as well as taking many rolls of hobbyist style photos.

Five years ago, I got my first SLR camera and started getting serious about photography.  I quickly outgrew the first camera and upgraded not once, but twice, to a professional-grade SLR camera.  Within the past year I’ve changed over from film to digital format and finally purchased my first DSLR camera this spring.

I’ve been shooting film and digital portraits for the past four years and plan to phase in wedding and event photography as well.
